Heal your relationship with food and your body
Imagine feeling more relaxed around food, confident in your choices and comfortable in your relationship with eating and your body.
I’m Lisa Gardner, a disordered eating specialist. Building on my years of experience supporting people to improve their health as a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I’m passionate about helping individuals recover from eating disorders, improve their relationship with food, and move towards a life free from disordered eating thoughts.
I’ll help you develop a better understanding of yourself including your behaviours, thoughts and emotions around food so you can become more aware of what, how and why you eat.
Together, we’ll gently explore what you need to feel nourished, supported and cared for, helping you build a more positive relationship with food while still enjoying the pleasure that eating can bring.
How does it work?
Your support will be personalised to you and may include nutritional, psychological, behavioural, lifestyle and social factors, depending on what will be most helpful for you. We’ll also work alongside other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary approach, ensuring you have the right support around you.
Most importantly, we’ll build your programme together. We’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable, focusing on the areas that matter most to you and making changes that feel realistic, manageable and sustainable.
1. Book a free chat
Book a free chat so I can find out more about you, answer any of your questions and I can explain how I can support you.
2. Your assessment
A 60-90 minute assessment session where we’ll gently explore your health, relationship with food, eating patterns and behaviours, as well as any food rules, beliefs or thoughts you may have around food and your body.
3. Your programme
Your programme includes weekly 30 minute sessions, giving us regular time to check in, explore how things are going and work through any challenges together.
We’ll work together over a minimum of three months, giving you the time and space to make meaningful changes at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There’s no need to rush — we’ll take things step by step, allowing you to build confidence, develop new habits and create lasting changes that feel right for you.
You’ll also have support between sessions, so you don’t have to navigate things on your own. You can reach out whenever you need some extra guidance, encouragement or reassurance.
4. Feeling confident moving forward
As you begin to feel more confident and comfortable in your relationship with food, we’ll gradually start to reduce the frequency of our sessions. This might mean moving to fortnightly or monthly check-ins, depending on what feels right for you.
We’ll focus on helping you maintain the progress you’ve made, build confidence in managing challenges independently and develop strategies to help you navigate any difficult periods or setbacks along the way.
Our goal is for you to feel equipped, confident and empowered to continue looking after yourself and your relationship with food, knowing that you have the tools and understanding to support yourself moving forward.

Three months is a starting point and in many cases, longer-term support is needed to make meaningful and lasting changes. We’ll work together at a pace that feels right for you, and as we progress, I’ll review your needs and let you know if I feel additional support would be beneficial.
There’s no pressure to rush the process. My aim is to make sure you have the time, support and space you need to build a healthier and more positive relationship with food that you can maintain long term.
